My son wants to do EVERYTHING himself at 18 months and cannot be told otherwise LOL. He was thrilled that he got to "choose" his snacks, and I was thrilled that he started to choose to eat his blueberries and mandarin orange slices almost immediately, even over his current fave (yogurt covered raisins, pictured)! I love that when the door is snapped closed, it doesn't pop open when dropped (or thrown......) and it seems very sturdy. Definitely a gimmick of a product, but well worth it - it keeps him occupied and happy with healthy snacks, and gives him a sense of independence without being able to make TOO much of a mess like with a bag, bowl or other container. Easy to clean as well. Will likely buy again and have recommended to every parent who asks about it!

My daughter loves being able to ‘play’ with her snacks. We have the smaller size and while the sections can’t hold too much (8 little pretzels, 6 animal crackers) you can put a good variety of snacks in it! You just need to make sure the latch is snapped shut before picking it up on its side because the door will slip open.
