Design the app home screen

Two ways:

• Use website home layout in the app — the app home shows the same content blocks as your website's home page (not its header and footer). Easiest if your website home page is already good.
• Design app home — a separate home screen just for the app, edited with the same rows, columns and blocks as page layouts.

If there is no app home yet, click Create default layout (a banner, categories and two product rails), then change it. Blocks you can add include Hero banner, Categories grid, Featured products rail, New arrivals rail, Text block, Custom HTML, Newsletter signup and Promotions (and Vendor showcase on marketplace stores). The app draws all of them except Newsletter signup and Vendor showcase, which show on the website only; a Text block or Custom HTML shows as plain text (no images, styling or links). Each block has a Section title, Items to show (1 to 50) and can be Hidden. Reorder with Move up / Move down.
