Show real recent sales on product pages
Social proof tells shoppers that other people are buying, using your real orders only. It never invents numbers: when a product has no recent sales, nothing shows.
What shoppers see
- "12 sold this week" under the price: units sold in the last 7 days. It appears only when the product sold at least the number you set (3 unless you change it), so a lone sale doesn't read as "1 sold".
- A small popup, bottom left: "R. from Jaipur bought this 2 hours ago". It cycles through up to 5 buyers of the last 48 hours.
Cancelled, failed and refunded orders don't count.
Privacy
Buyers are shown by first-name initial and city only (from the delivery address). Never a full name, phone number or email. A buyer with no name or city shows as "Someone".
Turn it on
- Open Marketing → Social proof.
- Tick Show social proof on product pages, then the popup, the "sold this week" line, or both.
- Set Hide the "sold this week" line below this many sales (0 to 100).
- Save. Product pages update within about 5 minutes.
