What Wishlist does
The wishlist lets shoppers save products for later by tapping the heart on a product. Saved items live in My account → My Wishlist, where shoppers can:
- see the current price and stock,
- spot price drops since they saved an item,
- mark items High, Medium or Low priority and sort by it,
- move one item, or everything, to the cart,
- share their wishlist with a link (for a birthday or wedding, for example),
- with the Advanced Wishlist module, sort items into named tabs like Diwali or Kitchen.
Friends who open a shared link can add items to their own cart, or copy the list to their own wishlist.
Good to know
- Shoppers must be signed in to save items, unless guest wishlists are switched on for your store.
- Wishlist is on for every store by default.
Not available yet
- No admin switch. You can't turn the wishlist, or guest wishlists (saving without signing in), on or off from your admin. Contact CartWhizz support to change either.
- No wishlist report. You can't see which products are wished for most. You can target shoppers who wished for something but didn't buy it with a CRM audience (see Store-owner view).
- No price-drop emails. Price drops are shown on the wishlist page only.
- Notes on items can't be added from the wishlist page.
