  6. Click Tender (Take payment). The amount due includes tax (for example GST) from your Tax rules, worked out the same way as for online orders, plus any charges:

  7. Click Complete sale, then Print the receipt.

The sale becomes a normal order in Sales → Orders and takes the stock from the register's location.

Hold a sale

Hold parks the basket so you can serve the next customer. Give it a Label you will recognise. Pick it up later from Held sales → Resume.

If the connection drops

If a sale is interrupted while completing, the register finds it next time (An unfinished sale was found). Try again re-sends the same sale, so it can never be charged twice.

Returns at the counter

Open Return or refund, scan or paste the Sale or receipt ID and click Find. Choose how many of each item are coming back, choose Refund to (Cash, Card, Exchange credit or Store credit), add a Reason if you like, and click Refund. If your shop requires it, a manager enters their Manager PIN.

Keyboard

The register works without a mouse: F1 shows the shortcuts, F2 focuses scan and search, F4 holds the sale, F6 opens held sales, F7 is quick sale and F9 takes payment.
