Shipping an order
Open the order. The Ship with Velocity card shows when Velocity is connected.
- Press Check Velocity rates to see every courier that can deliver this order, with price and delivery time. COD orders are quoted with the COD fee.
- Pick a courier and press Ship this order. Confirm the charge.
- The card shows the AWB number, the courier and a link to download the label.
A double click or a retry never books twice: an order shipped with Velocity always shows the same AWB.
Dry-run
While Dry-run is on (the default), pressing Ship sends nothing to Velocity and books nothing; you see a "Dry-run is on" message instead. When you are ready to book real couriers, open Logistics → Velocity → Settings, switch on Book real couriers, confirm and press Save. Your pickup warehouse is registered with Velocity on that save if it isn't yet.
Auto-ship paid orders
Switch on Auto-ship paid orders on Logistics → Velocity → Settings to book a courier as soon as an order is paid. Velocity's own courier rules choose the courier. Each order is booked once. Dry-run still applies.
Cash on delivery
COD orders are sent to Velocity as COD with the amount the courier must collect. Store credit or gift certificate already applied to the order is not collected again.
Cancelling
Press Cancel shipment on the order card. Velocity only cancels before the courier picks the parcel up, and processes cancellations in the background: the order shows Cancelled once Velocity confirms.
