What PayU payments do
PayU lets your customers pay online at your normal checkout: UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets, whatever your PayU account allows.
When a customer chooses PayU, they go to PayU's secure payment page, pay, and come back to your store's order confirmation. You never see or store their card details.
- Your normal checkout. PayU appears as one of the payment options next to cash on delivery or any other method you have set up.
- Money goes to your PayU account. PayU pays it out to your bank on its own schedule; CartWhizz does not hold it.
- One-tap checkout is separate. If you also want PayU's one-tap Quick Checkout button, see PayU Checkout Express. It is a setting on the same PayU payment method, and where the button shows is set in Finance → Quick Checkout.
What you need: an active PayU merchant account, and its Merchant Key and Salt from the PayU dashboard.
