Build a home page, step by step

A home page that sells usually has these sections, top to bottom. Open My store → Layouts and choose your home page (add it with Add layout page if it isn't there).

1. Announcement Bar in the top bar — one line, for example "Free delivery above ₹999".
2. Hero Banner or Banner Slider — your main offer or new collection, with a button to the category. Make banners in My store → Banners (Banners).
3. Shop by Category or Category Slider — your main categories with pictures (set category pictures in Products → Categories).
4. Products or Featured Products — "Bestsellers" or "New arrivals", 8 to 12 products.
5. Banners or a Promo Grid — a seasonal offer.
6. Another Products row — a featured category.
7. Testimonials — customer reviews build trust.
8. Newsletter Signup — in the page or the footer.

Tips

• Check on a phone: most shoppers use one. Hide heavy blocks on Mobile if the page feels long.
• Use banner images of the size the block suggests, so they aren't cropped.
• Fewer, better sections beat a very long page.
