Delivery, retries and the log
Retries
| Attempt | When |
|---|---|
| 1 | Straight away |
| 2 | 30 seconds later |
| 3 | 5 minutes after that |
CartWhizz retries when the other system can't be reached, times out, or replies with a server error (5xx). It does not retry a 4xx reply (for example 401 or 404), because that usually means the address or signature check is wrong.
Delivery Logs
Open a webhook's Delivery Logs to see each attempt: time, event, status, reply time and attempt number. Failed rows can be sent again with Retry.
- No status code means the other system never answered (down, wrong address, timeout).
- A reply time near 30 seconds means it timed out.
Pause, switch off or delete
| Action | Sending | History |
|---|---|---|
| Untick Active (shows Paused) | Stops for that webhook | Kept |
| Switch the module off | Stops for all webhooks | Kept |
| Delete the webhook | Stops | Delivery logs deleted too |
