Hyperlocal Delivery

Getting started

Hyperlocal Delivery depends on your plan: it may be included, offered as an add-on in Billing → Apps, or not available. If it isn't on your plan, add it there first (or ask us to switch it on for your store).

  1. Go to Modules, find Hyperlocal Delivery and switch it on.
  2. Make sure you have a shipping method for local delivery, for example Local delivery or Scheduled delivery, in Shipping → Shipping methods. Its own price no longer matters: each area sets the fee.
  3. Open Shipping → Hyperlocal Delivery.
  4. In Delivery settings:
    • Choose the Local delivery method.
    • Choose what happens to Shoppers outside every area: they can't order at all, they can order for store pickup only, or they can still order with your other shipping methods.
    • Leave Ask for the pincode on the first visit on if most of your shoppers should check delivery before they browse.
    • Click Save.
  5. Under Outlets, click Add outlet. Enter its name, address and pincode, and click the map to drop a pin. The pin is needed for distance-based areas.
  6. Under Delivery areas, click Add area and set it up (see Delivery areas and fees).
  7. Use Test a pincode to check a few pincodes, inside and outside your areas.

That's it: the "Deliver to …" bar now shows on your store, and checkout follows your areas.
