What shoppers see

The "Deliver to" bar. A slim bar at the top of every page, on every theme, shows the shopper's pincode and whether you deliver there ("Deliver to 560038 · Nearby · 60 min"), with a Change link. Before a pincode is entered it reads Check if we deliver to you.

The pincode box. If Ask for the pincode on the first visit is on, the box opens once, after the page has loaded. The shopper can close it and keep browsing; it won't open again in that visit. The text in the box can be changed in Message in the pincode box.

Product page. Under Add to Cart, a line says whether the product can be delivered to the shopper's pincode, with the fee and delivery time. For a product marked Local delivery only, it says so.

Cart. Above the order summary, the same line also tells the shopper if their cart is under the area's minimum order, or how far they are from free delivery.

Outside your areas the message follows your setting:

  • Can't order: "Sorry, we don't deliver to … yet."
  • Store pickup only: "We don't deliver to … yet. You can still collect your order from our store."
  • Other shipping methods: "… is outside our local delivery area. Standard shipping applies."

The pincode is remembered on the shopper's device, so they only enter it once.
