Does it cost anything? Email codes are free. SMS and WhatsApp codes are billed by your provider per message.

Can I use only email? Yes. Tick only Email under Allowed channels, or simply don't set up SMS.

How long is a code valid? 10 minutes by default. Change Validity (seconds).

Can I make codes 4 digits? Yes, Code length can be 4 to 10.

Will it stop all fake orders? It stops orders from fake or wrong numbers and emails. It cannot stop a real person who verifies and then refuses delivery.

Does it replace passwords? It adds a code login option. Customers can still use their password.

Can I require verification only for COD orders? No, checkout verification applies to every order. Use Payment Restrictions to limit COD instead.
