What is the Blog module?
The Blog lets you publish articles on your store — style guides, recipes, behind-the-scenes stories, festive gift ideas — to bring visitors in from Google and social media and turn them into buyers.
Your blog lives at an address you choose, by default yourstore.com/blogs/your-post. It is switched on for every store; switch it off in Settings → Modules if you don't want a blog.
You manage it in My store → Content → Blog. From there you have:
- Posts — write, schedule and publish articles.
- Categories — group posts, e.g. "Styling tips", "Recipes".
- Authors — the people credited on posts, with photo, role and bio.
- Comments — approve or reject readers' comments (if you allow comments).
- Blog settings — the blog's address, title, layout and extras.
What readers get
- A blog page with your posts as a grid or list, filterable by category and tag.
- Each post with its featured image, author, date, reading time, a table of contents, share buttons, related posts and, if you like, products to buy ("Shop this post").
- An RSS feed so readers and apps can follow you.
- Posts are added to your sitemap and set up for Google and social sharing automatically.
