Getting started

Open Settings → Modules, find Cookie Consent and click Enable (or Install on the Browse tab). There are no settings.
Make sure you have a Privacy Policy page at /pages/privacy-policy — the banner links to it. Create it in My store → Content → Pages if you don't have one.
Open your store in a private (incognito) window. After a moment the banner slides up.

In the private window, click Reject Non-Essential.
Your Google Analytics real-time report should not show the visit, and Meta Pixel Helper should show no pixel.
Open another private window and click Accept All — now both should appear.

Switching the module off removes the banner, and your tracking tools load for everyone straight away.
