Troubleshooting + privacy-law notes

The banner doesn't appear.

• Is Cookie Consent on in Settings → Modules?
• You may already have chosen on this browser. Open a private (incognito) window.

Google Analytics shows no visits at all.

Visitors must accept Analytics. Test in a private window with Accept All. Also check the Google Analytics module is set up.

My Meta Pixel / Google Ads conversions dropped.

Visitors who reject Marketing aren't tracked by the browser tags. The Facebook Conversions API token (in the Facebook Pixel module) still reports purchases from the server.

A script I added in Tracking Scripts still loads after rejecting.

That's how it works today — Tracking Scripts don't wait for consent.

The Privacy Policy link shows "page not found".

Create a page with the address privacy-policy in My store → Content → Pages.

The banner covers consent for the built-in analytics and ad tools. For full compliance you may also need a consent record and a "change my choice" link, which aren't available yet. Ask your legal adviser.
