What is Delivery Window?

Delivery Window shows shoppers when their order should arrive — for example "Receive by Thu, 27 Mar" or "Delivery in 3-4 business days" — on the product page, after they enter their pincode.

The date is worked out from rules you set in Logistics → Delivery Window:

  • Processing Time — working days you need to pack and hand over an order.
  • Cutoff Time — orders after this time start counting from the next working day.
  • Business Days — which days of the week you work.
  • Holidays — days you don't work, such as Diwali or Holi.

Known limitations:

  • The product-page estimate counts only your processing time. It doesn't add the courier's travel time, and the pincode the shopper enters doesn't change the date. Until this is fixed, set Processing Time to cover packing and your usual delivery time.
  • There's no field in the product editor to give one product a longer processing time.

Delivery Window and Delivery Scheduling

The same calendar rules (processing time, cutoff, working days, holidays, time zone) are also used by Delivery Scheduling, the module where shoppers pick a delivery date and time slot at checkout. You can use either module or both.

Delivery Window does not track parcels — for live tracking use your courier integration (for example Shiprocket or ShipMaxx).
