Balance page. Anyone with a code can check it at /gift-cards/balance: the remaining balance, the original value, whether it is active, used, expired or disabled, and the expiry date. A wrong code only shows "not found". To stop people guessing codes, a code and a device can only be checked a limited number of times in a few minutes.
Printable card./gift-cards/print?code=… shows the gift card with your logo, the value, who it is for and from, the message, the code and the expiry date. The shopper can print it or save it as a PDF from the browser. The recipient's email links to it, and the Print button in the admin list opens it for any certificate.
