Common use cases

New stock from a supplier sheet. You imported 50 products with names and prices but no photos. Open each one, search, import 2–4 pictures, move on. About half a minute per product.

Branded goods. For products whose brand publishes good photos (electronics, cosmetics, packaged foods), searching brand + model usually finds the official images.

Filling gaps. Some older products show a placeholder. Search for those one by one so every product card has a picture.

A quick extra angle. You have one photo but want a back or side view. Search product name back view.

When not to use it

  • For hundreds of products a day: Google's free allowance runs out, and a supplier image feed or the bulk import is quicker.
  • For your own handmade or unbranded products: Google will not have them. Take your own photos (a phone on a white sheet in daylight works well).
  • For luxury or designer goods: use only the brand's own images, or your own.
