Troubleshooting

There is no Search Google button.

• Check the module is enabled in Settings → Modules.
• Master products (in marketplace stores) do not show the button.
• Your staff account needs permission to edit products.

"Google API credentials are not set yet." Open Settings → Modules → Google Product Images → Configure and fill in both the API key and the Search Engine ID.

"Search failed. Check the API key, engine ID and quota."

• The Custom Search API is not enabled in your Google Cloud project, or the key is restricted to a different API.
• The Search Engine ID was copied wrongly.
• You used up today's free searches. Wait until tomorrow or add billing in Google Cloud.

"No images returned." Try fewer or different words. Check Image search is on for your search engine in Google. If the product is swimwear or similar, set SafeSearch to Off.

Some pictures failed to import. The website blocked the download, the file was too big, or it was not a real image. Pick other pictures.

The imported picture looks small or blurry. Raise Minimum Image Width to 1000 so small pictures are hidden.
