Ship an order

Record a shipment by hand

Use this when you book the courier yourself.

  1. Open the order and find Create Shipment.
  2. For each product, set To Ship (or click Ship All Remaining Items). You can ship part of an order now and the rest later.
  3. Choose the carrier (Select carrier..., or Other) and enter the tracking code.
  4. Add Notes if you like, then create the shipment.

The shipment appears under Shipment Tracking, and the customer can follow it from their order page. Set the order to Shipped if it did not change automatically.

Ship through Shiprocket or ShipMaxx

When a courier account is connected, you can book the courier from the order itself and the tracking number fills in for you. Shipments can also be created automatically once an order is paid, or once a cash-on-delivery order is confirmed.

Make sure every product has a weight and size (product Shipping tab), or the courier price can be wrong.

Pickup orders

If the customer chose to collect from your shop (Pickup Points):

  1. When the order is packed, click Mark ready for collection. The customer is told it is ready.
  2. When they collect it, click Confirm collection. You can type the name of the person who collected it if it was not the buyer.

Packing

More Actions → Print Order gives a printable order document to pack from. Print Orders on the orders list prints many at once.
