What are Payout Batches?
In a marketplace you collect the money from shoppers and later pay each seller their share, minus your commission. Payout Batches lets you pay many sellers in one go: pick a period (for example last week), and CartWhizz works out what each seller is owed for it and puts them all in one batch.
What a batch shows
- each seller's Gross Amount (their sales), your Commission, and the Net Amount to pay them;
- the number of orders;
- the seller's bank details (Payment Info) as they were when the batch was made;
- totals for the whole batch.
What you do with it. You make the transfers yourself in your bank's portal (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS or the bank's bulk payment upload), then mark the batch Completed. CartWhizz then marks those commissions as paid and records a payout for each seller.
What it does not do
- It does not move money or connect to your bank.
- It does not create a bank upload file. You type or copy the amounts and bank details into your bank's bulk-payment format.
- It does not deduct TDS. Work that out with your accountant.
It needs Vendor Payouts and is for marketplace stores only.
