What is Click & Collect?
Pickup Points (Click & Collect) lets shoppers collect their order from your shop or counter instead of having it delivered. They choose a collection point at checkout, you get the order ready, and they pick it up. No courier, no delivery charge, and often a faster sale.
What you get
- Collection points with name, address, phone, opening hours and instructions ("Ask at the billing counter, bring your order number").
- A collection option at checkout. Each active point appears next to your delivery options.
- "Available for collection" on product pages. If a point is linked to a warehouse, shoppers see how many are in stock at that shop.
- A counter workflow. On the order page: Mark ready for collection (the customer is told by email), then Confirm collection when they pick it up.
- Optional collection fee per point; free is the norm.
What it does not do
- It does not reserve stock when a shopper looks at a product.
- It does not sort points by distance from the shopper.
- One order is either collected or delivered; it can't be split.
It works on its own. Linking a point to a warehouse is optional and only adds the per-shop stock count.
