IP block list

Status: recorded, not enforced. The list saves addresses, reasons and expiry times, but CartWhizz does not check it when someone visits or signs in. A blocked address can still browse, sign in and order.

What the list does today:

• Keeps a record of addresses you consider risky, with a reason.
• Accepts single addresses (IPv4 or IPv6) and ranges written like 192.168.1.0/24.
• Shows each entry as Blocked until its expiry, then Expired.

Things to know before relying on it in future:

• Many Indian mobile users share one public IP through their mobile network. Blocking one address can block many real shoppers.
• Home broadband IPs change often, so a block on one address rarely stops a determined person for long.
