Shipping an order

Check rates and book

  1. Open the order in Sales → Orders. A Ship with ShipMaxx card appears once ShipMaxx is connected and enabled.
  2. Click Check ShipMaxx rates. Every courier that can deliver to the shopper's pincode is listed with price and delivery time in days.
  3. Choose a courier.
  4. Click Ship this order. The confirmation shows the amount that will be charged to your ShipMaxx wallet (or says dry-run is on). Confirm.

Once booked, the card shows the AWB (tracking number) and courier, with a Download label link when ShipMaxx sends one. The order also gets a shipment with this AWB, and the shopper can see tracking on their order page.

Clicking Ship this order again on an order already shipped shows the existing AWB. It never books or charges twice.

If booking fails

The card shows ShipMaxx's own reason, for example:

  • Insufficient balance — top up your ShipMaxx wallet.
  • KYC not approved — finish KYC in the ShipMaxx dashboard.
  • Pincode not serviceable — no courier delivers there right now. Use another shipping method for this order.

Nothing is charged for a failed attempt.

Cancel a shipment

After booking, use Cancel shipment. ShipMaxx may refuse once the parcel is in transit; the reason is shown. Your wallet is refunded only if the courier accepts the cancellation.

COD orders

ShipMaxx books COD orders as cash on delivery, so the courier collects the amount from the shopper. Remittance of COD money is handled by ShipMaxx; check it in their dashboard.
