How shipping works in CartWhizz
Three things work together:
- Rate areas (Logistics → Rate Areas) — the places you deliver to, for example "Delhi NCR", "Rest of India" or "International".
- Shipping methods (Logistics → Shipping) — the options shoppers pick at checkout, for example "Standard delivery" or "Express". Each method has rate tiers: its price in each rate area, optionally by weight, cart total or number of items.
- Carriers (Logistics → Carriers) — the courier companies, with the tracking link that turns a tracking number into a clickable link for your customer.
At checkout, CartWhizz finds the rate area that matches the delivery address, then shows each active method that has a rate for that area, with its price and delivery time.
Before you start: give every product a weight (product Shipping tab). Weight-based rates and courier prices need it.
