Create a shipping method and its rates
- Open Logistics → Shipping and click New Shipping Method.
- General
- Name — what shoppers see, for example Standard delivery.
- Code — a short internal code, for example
standard(letters, numbers, hyphen and underscore). - Delivery Time — for example "3–5 business days".
- Carrier — Manual if you set prices yourself, or the courier that delivers it.
- Rate Calculation — Manual (Rate Area) uses your own prices; Realtime (Carrier API) asks the courier for a live price (the carrier must be connected).
- Icon — optional small icon next to the name.
- Click Save draft and configure rates. The method is saved as Disabled while you add prices.
- Delivery areas and rate tiers — click + Add delivery area, choose a rate area (or Default — all other destinations) and set its delivery days (From and To).
- In each area click Add Tier and set:
- the range it applies to: Min Weight (g) / Max Weight (g), Min Order Value / Max Order Value, or Min Items / Max Items (leave at 0 for no limit);
- Rate — the price. Rate Type Flat (an amount) or Percentage (of the cart). Tick Per Unit to charge per item or per kg. Click Save Tier.
- Optional: Free Shipping Threshold (free above a cart total), Surcharge / Surcharge (%) (added on top, for example for packaging), and User Groups to offer the method only to certain customers.
- Set Status to Active and click Save All.
Position sets the order in which methods appear at checkout.
Marketplace stores: a method can belong to one seller (Vendor Owner) or be offered to all sellers (Use for All Vendors).
