Transfers, counts and movement history
All of these are on the Transfers & counts tab. Each one asks you to review and confirm, and each leaves a permanent record.
Move units inside a warehouse
Move shifts available units from one bin to another in the same warehouse. Scan the unit, choose the destination bin, add a Reason and confirm.
Transfer to another warehouse
- Transfer sends selected units to the other warehouse's receiving bin. They show as In transit.
- At the other end, Receive transfer confirms they arrived. They wait in staging until you put them away.
- Cancel transfer returns in-transit units to the bins they came from.
Count a bin
- Start a cycle count on a bin. This takes a snapshot of what the system expects.
- Scan every unit physically in the bin, then Submit count. An empty count means the bin is empty.
- Apply count corrects the stock. It only applies if nothing in the bin changed since the snapshot; otherwise start a new count.
Adjustments
An adjustment records an explained physical gain or loss (for example damaged goods). Don't use it to hide a reconciliation error. You can reverse an adjustment once, if its units can still be restored.
Before you receive a transfer, apply a count or reverse an adjustment, check the document's reference and state.
Movement history
Movement history lists every movement: the unit, where it came from, where it went, who did it, the reason and the time. Bin settings changes have their own history, with the values before and after each change.
Orders
Orders reserve units automatically, oldest units first. Shipping an order uses the reserved units; cancelling releases them.
Stop tracking a product
Disenroll hands a product back to normal stock. Settle its open reservations, incoming stock, transfers and returns first. Physical stock is kept and its unit history stays readable.
