What Direct Payments is intended for:

• A marketplace that pays sellers weekly — Marketplace Collects for everyone; the split record shows what each seller is owed per order.
• Big brands selling on your marketplace — Direct to Vendor for them, so the record shows that only your commission is yours.
• Reconciling with your accountant — a per-order breakdown of seller share and commission.

Today, use the Ledger Entries in Commissions and the Commissions report in Home → Analytics → Reports for this.
