Will customers pay sellers directly? No. All payments go to your gateway account.

Why is Payment Splits empty? Split records aren't being created at the moment (known problem).

Does Direct Payments pay my sellers? No — use Vendor Payouts.

Which commission is used? For splits, the seller's profile commission rate. For seller earnings, your Commission Rules in Commissions.

Should I switch it on? Only if you need the per-seller payment model setting; it doesn't record anything yet.
