Troubleshooting

Realtime shows nobody.

• Check the module is enabled in Settings → Modules.
• Check the Measurement ID starts with G- and has no spaces. Copy it again from GA4 → Admin → Data streams.
• Accept the cookie banner if your store shows one. With Cookie Consent on, GA4 only loads after the visitor accepts analytics cookies.
• Turn off ad blockers for the test, or use a different browser.

Page views arrive but no purchases.

• Place a complete test order (cash on delivery is easiest). Cancelled or abandoned payments are not sent.
• Purchases appear in the standard reports after up to 24–48 hours; use Realtime or DebugView to see them straight away.

Everything is counted twice. You probably also have GA4 in Google Tag Manager or in a Tracking Scripts snippet. Keep only one.

Revenue is in the wrong currency. Set the property currency in GA4 → Admin → Property settings.

GA4 revenue is higher than my sales report. Refunds, cancellations and refused COD orders are not sent to GA4. Trust your CartWhizz Reports for money.
