Countries, states, cities and postal codes

These lists decide which addresses customers can choose at checkout, and which places your shipping rate areas can cover.

Countries

Settings → Countries — only Active countries can be chosen in addresses. Click New Country (or Add manually) to add one. If you deliver only in India, keep only India active.

States

Settings → States — the states or provinces of each country. Indian states come ready-made.

Cities

Settings → Cities — choose the country and state, then add cities with New City, or use Enable all / Disable all.

Postal codes

Settings → Postal codes fills in the city and state automatically when a customer types their postal code.

• Indian PIN codes are built in, from India Post's directory. Nothing to do.
• For other countries, click Import postal codes, paste rows or upload a CSV with the columns country,postal_code,city,state. Choose Merge (add and update) or Replace country (delete that country's codes first). Preview before you Import.
