General settings
Open Settings → Settings. The tabs along the top are: General, Store status, Appearance, Thumbnails, Unused files, Catalog, Checkout, Vendors (marketplace stores), Security, Search and Backups.
The General tab
- Store Information — Store Email (where order notifications go), Support Email (shown to customers), Store phone and Business address. The phone and address are printed on invoices, credit notes and order emails.
- Currency — your store's main currency, for example INR (₹).
- Language — the default language.
- Timezone — used for order dates, reports and scheduled actions. Set it to where you are.
- Year company started — used in the copyright line of your footer.
- Panel Colors — the colour of your admin panel (and the seller panel on marketplace stores).
Click Save Settings.
Your store name, logo and favicon are on My store → Branding (Store design).

The Appearance tab
- Products per page, Products per row and Default listing view (2, 3 or 4 columns, or List).
- Default sorting (Name, Price, Newest, Popularity) and Default sort order.
- Show out-of-stock products and Show products with zero price.
- Include Subcategory Products (show them on the parent category page) and Hide Empty Categories.
- Images — thumbnail and detail image sizes.
- Display Options — Show product code (SKU), Show product weight, Show product stock on product pages.
