Storefront search

Products → Search Settings controls the search box on your store.

• Live Search Enabled — show suggestions as shoppers type.
• Minimum Query Length — how many letters before suggestions start.
• Search Sources — what the quick search looks through: Search Products, Search Categories, Search Brands, Search Vendors (marketplace stores) and Search Pages. Products Under Categories groups product results by category.
• Display Options — Show Product Prices and Show Product Images in suggestions.
• Result Limits — the most results of each kind (Max Product Results and so on).

Click Save.

Help shoppers find products

• Add Search words to a product (its Availability tab): synonyms and common misspellings such as "tshirt, t-shirt, tee".
• Write clear product names that use the words shoppers search for.
• If new products don't show up in search, Search Management shows the search index status and can Reindex All Products.
• Home → Visitor analytics lists searches that found nothing (Store Analytics).
