Blocked client experience
What a blocked visitor sees
A blocked visitor sees a plain full-screen page with your store name: "This store isn't available where you are", and a line asking them to contact the store if they think it's a mistake. Cart, search, login and checkout are all blocked for them.
Before blocking whole countries or large ranges, make sure your contact details are easy to find elsewhere (for example on your social pages), because a genuine customer caught by mistake can't reach your contact page.
When a customer says your store is not working
- Ask for their IP address and city or country.
- Put them in Test Access.
- If they are denied by mistake, add an IP Allow rule for their address, or narrow the rule that caught them.
Changes take a few minutes
New or changed rules apply within about 5 minutes. A visitor who was blocked can try again after you add an IP Allow.
