Entries + vendor balance
Every sold item of a seller becomes a ledger entry with the item's value, your commission and the seller's share.
Entry life cycle
| Stage | When |
|---|---|
| Pending | The order is paid (online payment), or completed. |
| Confirmed | The order is marked Complete. The seller's share becomes payable after the payout hold. |
| Paid | The seller was paid in a payout. |
| Reversed | The order was cancelled or refunded, or the item returned. A matching negative entry takes the amount back. |
For COD orders, entries are recorded once the order is completed.
Seller balance
A seller's balance is what they have earned and not yet been paid:
- Pending — earnings from orders not yet complete, or still in the hold.
- Available — confirmed earnings past the hold, ready to pay.
- Paid — already paid out.
Sellers see the same figures in their seller panel. Vendor Debts (money a seller owes you) is subtracted when they are paid.
