Checkout experience — what the customer sees

Shoppers only see the payment methods they can use. Hidden methods simply don't appear: there is no "not available" message.

• A shopper with a ₹12,000 cart and your COD limit at ₹5,000 sees UPI, cards and net banking, but no COD.
• If they remove items to go below ₹5,000, COD appears again.
• If they change the delivery address to a state not in Allowed States, that method disappears.
• If they switch to a delivery option not in Allowed Shipping Methods, that method disappears.

Tip: say it on your store too, for example on the product page or in your shipping policy: "Cash on delivery available on orders up to ₹5,000." Shoppers are less surprised at checkout.
