Getting started

Switch it on. Open Settings → Modules, find Payment Restrictions and enable it. It has no settings of its own.
Open the payment method. Go to Finance → Payments and click the method you want to limit, for example Cash on Delivery.
Open the Restrictions tab and fill in what you need:
- Maximum Order Total: 5000 to offer COD only up to ₹5,000;
- Allowed States: pick states where you accept COD; leave empty for all;
- Allowed Shipping Methods: pick delivery options that support COD; leave empty for all.
Click Save. The tab shows how many rules are set.
Test. In a private window, add more than ₹5,000 to the cart and go to checkout. COD should be missing. Remove items to go under ₹5,000: COD comes back.

Always keep at least one payment method with no restrictions (for example UPI or cards through your gateway), so every shopper can pay.
