Working the moderation queue
Set a routine. Check once or twice a day. Sellers lose interest if products wait days.
Order of work
- Filter Pending.
- Approve trusted sellers' products in bulk.
- Review new sellers' products one by one with Preview.
- Reject with specific reasons.
Look back. The Approved and Rejected filters show past decisions, useful when a seller asks why something was rejected.
Share the load. Give catalogue staff moderation access so the queue doesn't depend on one person.
No automatic clean-up. Products don't approve or reject themselves. Pending products wait until someone acts.
