IndexNow

When you publish or change a product or a page, your store sends its link to the IndexNow search engines (Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver and others) so they recrawl it soon instead of waiting for their next visit. Google does not use IndexNow; it reads your sitemap.

• On by default. Switch it off in SEO → Sitemap & crawling → Tell search engines about changes (IndexNow).
• Changes are grouped: a burst of edits goes out as one request, at most once every 10 minutes per store.
• Only active products and pages are sent, using their canonical link on your store's domain (your own domain if you connected one).
• Your store proves the links are its own with a key file at https://<your store>/<key>.txt, served automatically.
