What is Shiprocket shipping?
Shiprocket is an Indian shipping platform that gives you many courier companies through one account. Connect your Shiprocket account once, and you can compare courier prices for an order, book pickups, print labels and manifests, track parcels, handle failed deliveries, and book return or exchange pickups from your CartWhizz admin.
Shiprocket only works for stores in India.
Find it at Logistics → Shiprocket. It has tabs for Settings, Shipping Queue, NDR and Weight Disputes.
Good to know
- Shiprocket is not a courier. It books your parcel with a courier in its network.
- This is not Shiprocket Checkout. Shiprocket Checkout is the one-tap payment button and has its own guide. This guide is about shipping orders, however they were paid. An order placed through Shiprocket Checkout is linked to the Shiprocket order it already created, so it is not created twice.
- There is no test account. Real bookings, cancellations, returns, exchanges and NDR actions spend money from your Shiprocket wallet. Every new connection starts in dry-run mode so nothing real happens until you switch it off.
- Wallet balance is shown on the Settings tab, with a low-balance warning. Top-ups are done on the Shiprocket website.
Good to know
- Auto-ship on paid books the shipment as soon as an order is paid online, using the courier choice in your settings (cheapest, fastest or Shiprocket's recommendation). Orders collected in store are skipped. While Dry run is on, no real shipment is booked.
- Show Shiprocket rates at checkout: shipping methods set to Realtime (Carrier API) with carrier Shiprocket show live Shiprocket prices at checkout for the shopper's PIN code. If Shiprocket can't quote, the method's own price is used. Switch this off to stop live prices.
- Weight discrepancies can be viewed but not accepted or disputed here, because Shiprocket doesn't allow it from outside its dashboard. Each row links to Shiprocket.
