• KYC — Know Your Customer: checking a seller's identity.
• DigiLocker — the Government of India app where Aadhaar and PAN can be shared securely.
• Digio — the service CartWhizz uses to connect to DigiLocker and verify PAN and bank accounts.
• Penny-drop — sending ₹1 to a bank account to confirm it exists and whose it is.
• Sanctions / PEP screening — checking a person against government sanctions and politically-exposed-person lists.
• Masked Aadhaar — an Aadhaar number with most digits hidden, like XXXX XXXX 1234.
