Balances and generating payouts
A vendor's balance
The vendor's Balance page shows:

| Total Gross Sales | Their sales before commission. |
| Platform Commission | What your marketplace keeps. |
| Total Net Earnings | Sales minus commission. |
| Pending Settlement | Earnings from orders not yet completed, or still in the hold period. |
| Confirmed Settlement | Earnings ready to pay. |
| Pending Payouts | Payouts created but not yet completed. |
| Total Paid Out | Completed payouts. |
| Available Balance | What can still be paid out (confirmed earnings minus payouts and open requests). |
Generate a payout
Vendors → Vendor Payouts → Generate Payout:
- Pick the Vendor.
- Choose Period Start and Period End.
- Click Generate.
CartWhizz adds up the vendor's earnings that are past their hold in that period and creates a Pending payout. A Settlement Summary shows the number of entries settled, Gross Amount, Commission and Vendor Amount. Those earnings are marked as settled so they can't be paid twice.
If nothing is ready in that period, you'll see an error saying no confirmed earnings were found.
