Returns after payout. If an order is refunded after its earnings were already paid out, recover the amount from the vendor yourself. A hold at least as long as your return window avoids this.
COD orders count once they are completed (delivered), like prepaid orders.
Overlapping periods are safe: earnings already settled are never paid twice.
Vendor request + admin payout. Both reduce the available balance, so a vendor can't be overpaid by mistake.
