Day-to-day stock tasks
Open Products → Warehouses and click a warehouse. It has four tabs: Products, Bins, History and Settings.
Update stock
- On Products, search by name, SKU or barcode, or filter (Stocked here, In stock, Out of stock, Not stocked here).
- Type the new on hand figure in the row. Changed rows are highlighted.
- In the bar at the bottom, pick a reason: Correction, Received, Stock count, Damaged or lost, or Adjustment.
- Click Save stock.
If someone else (or an order) changed a row while you were typing, that row isn't saved; it shows Now N so you can check and save again.
Many rows at once
Tick rows and use Set to… (after a stock count), Add… (a delivery) or Subtract… (an adjustment).
Import a CSV
Import CSV takes a file with sku, quantity and optionally bin columns. Choose Replace on hand or Add to on hand. You see every row matched (or why not) before anything changes; rows with problems are skipped.
Transfer between warehouses
Click the transfer button on a product's row, pick the destination and quantity. Units leave one warehouse and arrive in the other in one step. You can't transfer more than is available.
Bins
With bins on, set how many units sit in each bin from the product row. On the Bins tab, add bins one by one or Create a range (for example aisles 1–4 × levels 1–3 = 12 bins). A bin holding stock can't be turned off.
History
Every change with time, product, reason, +/−, the figure after, and who or what caused it (an order, purchase order or import). Order changes link to the order.
On the product page
Stock by warehouse edits the same figures for one product across all warehouses.
Fulfilment order
On the Warehouses list, use Fulfilment order to set which warehouses orders use after the default.
