Module settings (Settings → Modules → Warehouses → Configure)
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Allow negative stock | Off | Lets your own corrections take a warehouse below zero. Orders still can't. |
| Default warehouse code | — | Where stock lands when no warehouse is named. |
Warehouse fields
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Name, Code | Code must be unique, for example MAIN. |
| Address, City, State, Postal code, Country | Where it is. |
| Status | Active or Disabled (resync after changing). |
| Default warehouse | Orders take stock from here first; stock lands here when no warehouse is named. |
| Sort position | Order in lists. |
| Vendor | On a marketplace, the vendor this warehouse belongs to. |
Warehouse Settings tab
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Use bins in this warehouse | Track aisle/rack/level locations. |
| Bin code format | Pattern for created bins, for example {zone}-{aisle}-{rack}-{level}-{bin}. |
| External ID | This warehouse's ID in another system (ERP). |
| GLN | GS1 Global Location Number, if you have one. |
