Guest Checkout

Common use cases

Everyday retail (fashion, beauty, home, gifts). Keep guest checkout on. Require email and phone so you can send order updates and couriers can call. Switch on Offer account creation after order to turn some guests into regular customers.

Expensive items or lots of fake COD orders. Keep guest checkout, but add a check: switch on OTP Verification to confirm the shopper's email or phone before they place the order, and use Payment Restrictions to hide cash on delivery above a certain amount.

Wholesale or members-only stores. You want every buyer to have an account. Today you cannot turn guest checkout off from the admin. You can switch off Allow shopping for unlogged customers so visitors must log in before they browse and shop, or contact CartWhizz support.

Festival sales and pop-ups. Guest checkout gets first-time buyers through quickly. Pair it with a coupon code and Abandoned Cart reminders for shoppers who drop off.
