What Guest Checkout does

Guest checkout lets shoppers buy without creating an account. They enter their email, name, phone and address at checkout, pay, and get an order confirmation, with no password and no sign-up form.

This matters because many first-time buyers leave when a store asks them to register before paying. Letting them check out as a guest keeps those sales.

It is part of CartWhizz. There is no module to install. Every store accepts guest orders unless you change the checkout settings.

What guests can do

• Add to cart, check out and pay with any method you offer: UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, cash on delivery.
• Use coupon codes and gift certificates.
• Get the order confirmation email and track the order with their order number and email.
• Get abandoned-cart reminders if they typed their email and left without paying (with Abandoned Cart on).

What guests cannot do

• Use reward points or a store wallet balance. Those belong to an account.
• See an order history in My account. They track each order with its number and email instead.

Can I switch guest checkout off? Not from the admin today. The Allow guest checkout switch is missing from Settings → Settings → Checkout, so guest checkout stays on for every store. If you need account-only checkout (for example a wholesale store), contact CartWhizz support.
