Getting started

1. Add the sign-up box to your store. Open My store → Layouts, edit your home page (or the layout used on all pages), and add the Newsletter block, usually just above the footer. You can change its heading and choose whether to ask for a name. Save and publish.
2. Test it. Open your store in a private window and sign up with your own email. You'll see Thank you for subscribing!
3. Check the list. Open Marketing → Newsletter. Your email is at the top under Subscribers with status Active.
4. Check your store can send email. Campaigns go out the same way as your order emails. Make sure order emails are arriving (see Settings → Email Logs).
5. Send a first campaign to yourself. While you are the only subscriber, create a short campaign and send it. Check the email looks right on your phone and that the unsubscribe link works.

Now share the sign-up box: mention it on Instagram and WhatsApp, and offer a small welcome coupon to people who sign up.
