Common use cases
The Recycle Bin is designed for:
- Undoing an accidental delete of a product, category, page or blog post.
- Bringing back a removed seller or user within 30 days.
- Cleaning up for good with Permanent Delete or Purge Expired.
Today, because deletions don't arrive in the bin, use these instead:

| Take a product off the store for now | Set it to Disabled or Hidden. |
| Retire a seasonal category | Hide it, or move its products, rather than deleting. |
| Remove a page temporarily | Unpublish it. |
| Delete lots of products safely | Export them first in Products → Product Import/Export. |
