What is Recycle Bin?

The Recycle Bin is meant to be a safety net: something you delete by mistake (a product, category, page, blog post, seller or user) waits there for 30 days so you can bring it back with Restore.

Important: it is not filled automatically today. Deleting a product, category, page or other item in the admin does not put it in the Recycle Bin. The page in Settings → Recycle Bin works, but it stays empty for normal deletions, so you can't rely on it to undo a delete.

What to do instead

• Hide instead of delete. Set a product to Disabled or Hidden, or a page to unpublished, when you might need it again.
• Export before big clean-ups. Use Products → Product Import/Export (or Settings → Import / Export) to download a copy before deleting many items.
• Ask support quickly. If you deleted something important, contact CartWhizz support as soon as possible.
